May Chu is a board-certified nurse practitioner who completed her master’s degree at the University of Texas at Arlington and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to obtaining her MSN, May worked as a registered nursing for many years working in intensive care units, pre-op/recovery, ER, as well as on a trauma/neuro unit. As a nurse practitioner, May has background working in pain management, as a hospitalist, and in the ER/Urgent Care. Throughout her journey in healthcare, and in life, May found the importance and meaning of having a good quality of life, and realized that her calling is in helping people achieve this goal.
She believes in taking a holistic approach when it comes to her patient care and does so by looking at the whole health of her patients instead of only managing symptoms. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two dogs, extended family, as well as her close friends. She also loves a good yoga or spin class, traveling, and eating good
